Gotta see:  filmul regizat de Clint Eastwood, “Invictus“, cu o prestatie remarcabila a actorilor Morgan Freeman si Matt Damon. Bazat pe cartea lui John Carlin “Playing the Enemy: Nelson Mandela and the Game that Made a Nation” filmul te inspira si emotioneaza atat de mult incat ..cu siguranta nu il vei uita, si, mai mult, vei vrea sa il revezi!

Mai interesant este ca sunt o persoana careia ii place adrenalina! Mai bine zis, imi placea.. pentru ca in timp a inceput sa imi placa tot mai putin si am inceput sa devit tot mai anxioasa (eu am numit asta …ca sunt mai rationala ). Si stiu ca e mai bine asa, insa …uneori imi dau seama ca am “butoane” care activeaza foarte multa adrenalina. Adrian Nuta ne invata sa ne cunoastem cat mai bine aceasta “harta a butoanelor”. Eu inca o explorez, desi am facut mari progrese in ultima vreme.

..Dar..ah, cand imi aduc aminte de.. “anii copilariei mele, de casa parintesca de la Humulesti” ))) Parca imi tresalta si acum inima de bucurie! Si parca ar fi fost totul ieri!… Cu toate ca incerc din rasputeri sa imi asez frumos unele amintiri pretioase pentru mine in diverse “cutiute” materiale sau virtuale, pentru a le reaccesa cat mai usor in timp, se pare ca totusi cel mai clar si puternic am acces la ele …atuci cand vor ELE sa apara, nu cand vreau EU sa le chem. Si pentru ca zilele astea doua ma voi perpeli pe toate partile ca un peste pe uscat sau un snitzl in tigaie sa iau o decizie importanta cu care sa ma simt confortabil MACAR jumatate de an de acum in colo, mi-am amintit de un “instrument ajutator” pe care mi l-a oferit unul dintre managerii mei. MAU Model, desi are rolul de ajuta sa ia decizii mai degraba oamenii care au tendinta de a lua decizii pe baza intuitiilor ( ca mine, adicatelea), consider ca e helpful anyway to anybody. Asa ca iata-l:

Modalitatea de “lucru” (aici decizia era una de schimbare in cariera):

The MAU Model is a decision making model that helps you decide what you want to do by cutting out the emotions and fears, and just using pure logic and numbers.  Here is what you do:

1) The rows 4-7 are the OPTIONS you have to choose between and make a decision.  It seems to me that your three primary choices are X, Y, or Z (and perhaps something else – if not just leave that row blank or delete the row).

2) Along the top in blue, you will see criteria that are important for you to make a career decision. If it’s a career change decision, I have written in “money”, “development”, etc.  Please delete my criteria and put yours.  There are seven columns.  Please write in the most important seven.  (If you have less than seven, just leave the other columns blank or delete the columns.)

3) Along the bottom row are the WEIGHTS.  Here you must write a number from 0-100 showing how important that criteria is to you.  So in my sample you will see that the first column is money.  The weight there is 90, meaning that in our sample table here this person cares a LOT about money.  Development is also important to the sample person, but not as important as money, so he wrote 70.  Perhaps your criteria won’t even include development or money (yeah, RIGHT!), but after you do choose your criteria you have to weight each one.

4) In the boxes above weight below the criteria (rows 4-7) you will see scores between 0 and 1 (e.g., .1, .2, .6, etc.).  Here is what you do here: Under each criteria, for example MONEY, you will first choose the career option that is BEST and the one that is WORST.  The BEST one gets a score of “1″ and the worst one gets a score of “0″.  Then for the other options, you give a score between 0 and 1 that shows where that option lies between the best and worst.  So in this case, option X probably has the best earning potential so it would get a score of “1″.  You may believe that the lowest salary would come from option Y, so you would then give that one a score of “0″.  Now you look at the other two options. As for the final option (whatever it is), maybe you feel that the money there will be better than working at a competitor but less than  X option, so you would possibly put a “.6″ there.

5) Once you are done, the scores at the right in red give you the best choice!
